well... what has been happenin'... I have been getting quite frustrated... several things... lets start from the mundane...:

1) my lens broke and my insurance company (photoguard) have been lame... very lame at dealing with my claim... meaning that I have had to borrow equipment... which doesn't facilitate taking pictures...

2) people have not been getting back to me... organisations etc... well... it is/was Ramadhan and people have been busy which is by all means a valid reason for not getting back to me... luckily... people are now slowly getting back to me although not as fast as would like to...

3) I have on the other hand... been able to meet more people... I have made contacts with the Bangladeshi community centre as well as the Pakistani community centre in Longsight and they are all big organisations so we'll see how much they will be able to help me...

4) The MYF... Muslim Youth Foundation (www.myf.org) we're ace... really really nice and helpfull... so I will be going back there to meet people...

5) Bradford... tomorrow... for a couple of days... pictures and interviews... and then a week after that my trip to Calais and London... we'll see what happens...

6) Eid celebrations... well.. Rusholme is an experience although not particularly what Eid is really all about... --> small video coming soon... as soon as Taz sorts it out...

In any case things have been a bit slow which is why I have been a bit frustrated... but things are picking up...

just in case: somebody told me that they were having problems seeing the videos... I think they were using internet explorer... has anyone else had any problems? Let me know and I'll try and fix it... cheers
